EVENT – Victorian Speed: The Long History of Fast Living

Venue: Museum of the History of Science, Broad Street, Oxford, OX1 3AZ

18th October 2018

Does the modern world move too fast? We are not the first to ask this question. The Victorians also feared that their lives had been accelerated by new technologies like the railway and telegraph. This interactive event showcases the long history of feeling stressed about the pace of modernity.

Sessions run 6 – 7.30pm or 7.30 – 9pm.

This is a free, timed event. You don’t need to book a ticket, but it would help us monitor interest if you register here https://if-oxford.com/event/victorian-speed-the-long-history-of-fast-living/
